Duke is fantastically well bred, and so talented

  • he's a super dressage horse, with outstanding movement - lovely cadence in his gaits. He's beautiful, super talented, lovable and easy on the
ground. He moves like a dream, very balanced, lovely rhythm, plenty of collection and extension - excellent lateral work, lead changes, good
transitions... very smooth and soft under saddle.

  • he's a stunning jumper - very clean, huge powerful jump, plenty of scope to go up. Very brave, not spooky at all

  • he's great x-country - no concerns with water, ditches, banks etc.

Up to now he's been ridden by an adult amateur who has successfully campaigned him in Dressage, Eventing and Hunter/Jumpers. Currently being
ridden by a junior rider.
If you want to standout from the competition this is the horse for you!

Duke HW has an impressive pedigree, he is by the top stallion Delatio who combines world class blood
lines of De Niro and Rubinstein. Delatio, with his chic black and brown appearance and its interesting
bloodlines, is an asset for every dressage breeding. The father of Delatio, is the famous Elite Grand Prix
dressage stallion De Niro. In 2000 he was declared the best new generation German Grand Prix horse.
Winner of the German Championships of professional riders in Verden under Dolf-Dietram Keller. At 8
years of age he has already sired 19 licensed sons taking him to the forefront of today's breeding in
Germany.

Sire of Vice Federal champion in 2001 - Del MartinoDe Niro is a son of Donnerhall, who became a
figurehead of the more recent Oldenburg breeding history, as double world champion and a top class
hereditary transmitter of dressage horses. The dam Alicante , who was herself a successful dressage
horse, had earlier produced the full-De Niro brother Dimension. The damsire Akzent II is regarded as
one of the best procreators of rideability horses of modern day horse breeding. The pedigree is
consolidated well by the strong performance thoroughbred Wiesenbaum xx and the siring legend
Ferdinand. The damline is identical in its origins to that of the stallions Dewett (Zweibrücken state
stallion), Gomez (Dillenburg state stallion), Laurion (private stallion Oldenburg ), Wapiti ( Celle state
stallion) and Wogenbrecher (private stallion Hanover ). Laurion's full-sister, the international
showjumping derby winner Landdame FRH/ Franke Sloothaak, also represents this dynasty.

De Niro was one of the best jumping stallions at the 1995 Verden stallion market and ranged among
the top at the 1996 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, where he received the highest rideability
score and became overall second in performance class I. De Niro has meanwhile won dressage
competitions at the elementary and intermediate levels and qualified for the national dressage
championships of 1998 and 1999. Merely aged seven, he already won Prix' St. Georges,Intermédiaire I
and II as well as Grand Prix events during the 2000 season. In 2000, he was furthermore declared the
best new generation Grand Prix horse and in 2001, he won the Championship of German Professional
Riders, ridden by his trainer Dolf- Dietram Keller. This was followed in 2002, by wins in international
Grand Prix events. De Niro was awarded the I-a main premium by the Oldenburg Association in 1997 as
a result of his overwhelming breeding value rating.

De Niro

Delatio scored during his 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf (Ger) for all three gaits and rideability a 9. Delatio
steps with much tact and flexibility, has a nice trot in which he shows a lot of rhythm and his canter is
uphill stride. Delatio is successful in Prix St. George classes, under his rider Miranda Rongen. Delatio's
offspring are in high demand, they have a nice appearance and can move very well.

Duke HW's dam is by the famous stallion Stedinger. He is the radiant and unequivocal approval winner
of the 2002 Oldenburg Stallion Days from our own breeding and rearing programme. He is blood
impressed and large framed, with a formidable overall appearance and highly elastic in every respect.
Stedinger is one of the best of his age class as regards his jumping performance. His sire Sandro Hit is
regarded as the upholder of the Sacramento Song xx - Butes bloodline that established itself in Holstein
and was disseminated in the warmblood breeds of Oldenburg and Hanover via Sandro. Sandro Hit was
federal champion six-year old dressage horse in 1999 and world champion of the young horses in
Arnheim. In the meantime, he has become one of the most sought after contemporary sires.

The dam, Association premium mare Bold-Fantasy absolved an excellent mare performance test with a
loose jumping score of 10.00, an extraneous rider score of 9.0 and an overall score of 8.67. She is a
full-sister of the approved Lamar H, who is himself a successful dressage sports horse. The maternal
bloodline is directly linked to all the epochal greats of Oldenburg breeding history through Landadel,
Futuro and Adonis xx. The Oldenburg foundation line of the mare Besinda (by Orient-Hildebald etc.) also
brought forth the approved full-brothers Andrew (successes up to Grand Prix) and Armagnac, as well as
the likewise multiple advanced dressage sports winner and approval champion Waldsee. This
bloodline moreover also produced Tansanid, who won the the silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games
under Christine Stückelberger. The grandam gave birth to many successful showjumpers, dressage
horses and cross-country eventing horses.

Duke HW looks very much like his sire Delatio, Duke HW is a horse of high quality and a super fancy
mover who knows to impress due to his type, movement and work ethic. This stunning horse has all the
looks and the personality a person could ever hope for. He has a super nice head, small, cute pony face
with a well set on neck, if he blinks with his beautiful kind eye, you'll fall in love at first sight. I for sure did
as I saw him in Germany! He is well trained and is hooves barley touch the ground. He loves to please
his handler and rider, to learn new things is his hobby. He eagerly works under saddle. He is all
concentrated on his job in the dressage arena and with his quick hind leg, passage and piaffe will come
naturally to him.

Duke HW is already at First Level and counter canter and the flying changes will be easy in the future.

He is supple and elastic. With his free shoulder and huge grundschwung, he swings nicely through his
back. He is light in the bridle and easy to sit. This extremely talented gentleman has international
potential.FF
